THE BENEFITS OF HYDRATION FOR HEALTHY-LOOKING SKIN

HYDRATION IS IMPORTANT

Drinking water is essential for our bodies to function. Considering that we are made up of up to 60% water, you can understand that our body does not work optimally when dehydrated.

Water flushes toxins and waste from our bodies. When you do not drink enough water, these natural functions can stall, causing these toxins to be absorbed into the body.

Drinking enough H2O also ensures our largest organ, our skin, gets the nourishment and hydration it needs. A lack of water will cause your skin to age prematurely, show visible fine lines, and look dull.

The benefits of ensuring you consume enough fluids to flush toxins and hydrate your skin are plentiful.

Flushing out Toxins

Our bodies collect free radicals and toxins in our everyday life. Exposure to pollution, air-conditioning, and even cigarette smoke cause our skin to look dry and damaged.

Regular water intake can help flush these toxins from the body, thereby reducing the damage caused by the free radicals.

Reduce fine lines

Adding in enough nourishment and hydration is a great way to increase the elasticity of your skin. Doing this reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, premature aging and boosting your skin's natural collagen.

Reduce oily skin

It is counterproductive to believe that drinking more water will make oily skin worse. If your skin and body are too dry, your body will naturally start to produce more oils to counteract that. By ensuring you drink at least eight water glasses a day, you can reduce naturally oily skin.

Improve the appearance of your skin

Better hydration will give your skin a natural glow that is achieved from the inside out. Your body will pull moisture from your skin to feed your organs, so to ensure your skin avoids looking dry and damaged, make sure you are drinking enough to hydrate your skin all day.

Drinking water is not the only way you can feed your skin. Adding in nourishing products or serums into your daily regime can help you sustain your skin from the outside, locking in your consuming moisture. It is not there to replace your water intake but hydrating from drinking enough fluids throughout the day.

Reduce the dry, dull, and wrinkly appearance of undernourished skin by ensuring you remember to drink the required amounts of water every day.
