This is Why We Switched to Plastic Bottles

Our dark blue glass bottles have been replaced. We know, we know… they were prettier. They were a little fancier and they just felt nicer to have on your desk or your bathroom counter. But we think the reason why we switched will make customers just like you, happy.

Our new Hand and Body Lotions will come to you in BPA-Free, recyclable and ultraviolet-proof PET plastic bottles. They don’t leach chemicals even at super high temperatures and are the safest possible bottles we could source.

We stand by an organic, natural and environmentally-friendly way of living, so this just had to happen sooner rather than later.

Why does it matter that the new bottles are BPA-free?

BPA stands for Bisphenol-A and is a chemical used to make many reusable plastic products. It’s harmful because it has been known to leach chemicals from containers into food and beverages that the container holds. It can pose potential health risks, especially to infants and babies.

What is PET?

PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, and is a safe, alternative material to BPA. The material can be recycled again and again to reduce overall waste.

Why does it matter that it’s ultraviolet-proof?

Materials that are not protected by UV rays or radiation are susceptible to degradation and damage. No matter the exposure, our plastic bottles are safe and sound… and so are the products inside.

So there’s really no difference. These bottles are better for the environment, look the same as the old glass bottles and even reduce shipping costs for you, since they aren’t as heavy. Check them out. Pick some out for yourself. Gift a few for others.
